Time to take a break from photographing and measuring old paintings, and – worst of all – typing the information into the media section of the website!
A couple of weeks ago I painted on a day that felt like the last moments of winter and the beginning of spring. I decided to photograph my progress over the couple of hours it took to complete the picture.
I have never done this before, and frankly it was odd, a little like someone watching over my shoulder. But it is interesting to me after the fact, also providing a permanent opportunity to ask that annoying question, “Should I have stopped sooner?”!
