I have already confessed to my weakness for a good tree (A thing for trees…) so it is no surprise that I painted them here too.
What was sobering, was a huge tree falling on the spot where I had been sitting three days earlier – and that I had just walked under half an hour before. An uncharitable friend suggested the tree was a critic. There will be consequences!
