I spent the greater part of Saturday, January 18th telling myself that it was just fine if I didn’t paint anything, whilst simultaneously feeling guilty about it. This is not an infrequent pattern but is still frustrating. I decided to break the impasse late evening by sketching Mark who was engrossed in his iPad. I was determined not to fuss these efforts or get too frustrated if they didn’t turn out. I did six sheets in total and include three here. Well, that tells you something!
In many ways, he looks like a different person in each but I like them and perhaps more importantly – at least for domestic harmony – so does he.
