Early spring sunlight is so welcome and so particular. Clear, cool, and vivid, it cleanses and awakens. It also brightens everything it touches; these same tree trunks in the rain become heavy and saturated – dark vertical punctuations, but in this light they are transformed into joyful, pastel ribbons.
