February 20th just felt too bleak and cold to go outside and so I calmed the painting itch by staring in the mirror.
It felt liberating to work on paper again, though liberation is not the first word that comes to mind looking at these I realize! My concentration seems to come across as manic or moody – but I’m just trying really hard!
I probably had that expression when trying to understand algebra at school – or maybe that expression was one more resigned to defeat…
