November 3rd: Claire’s Painting

We recently hosted a good friend and great house guest.  I have known Claire for over twenty-five years, so I was thrilled when she decided to acquire a painting in my exhibition based only on seeing it in this blog August 10th & 11th. Fortunately, she did not change her mind when she saw it in person.

Little did she know, but it was a special vote of confidence that I painted while she was staying with us. I usually find that very difficult, but she understood the number one ground rule: Do Not Disturb!

The featured painting above will soon also join her in Texas. Here is the in progress sequence, mostly done while she was asleep!

I also completed a couple more paintings on the 3rd that will soon head over to  Gallery and Goods.
