Maine – Summer

We have visited Maine three times: twice in the summertime and once in December. The latter will be the subject of a future post. I have sometimes found the landscape somewhat monotonous – a little bit like lobster rolls, great at first but then I have quickly had enough . I suppose that although not always welcome, it is the unpredictable weather that brings variety to the landscape.

  1. Yet again, you’ve captured the mood of the your environs.
That said, I can’t fathom how you can ever have had enough of a Lobster Roll. You obviously need to visit Maine more frequently.

  2. Its always good exploring new places to paint. I particularly like the lazy wave creeping in on Early Morning and the inquisitive gulls. I quickly get the feel of the place.
