So now it feels real. Spent a surprisingly enjoyable afternoon hanging the exhibition at Gallery and Goods
I say surprisingly because – well, I was a little tense. Okay, run-a-small-town-off-the-energy-tense. Brett and Josh were brilliant and Mark a hero as ever.
The light in that beautiful space is magic and everything just feels at home. The official opening is October 5th and if you are reading this I hope you can be there!

The place is ideal to your paintings, stepping in nature through your paintings, with a glimpse of trees outside the window.
It really is! Thank you Regine. x
Hello Michael – how fabulous to see this beautiful church building and great space – ideal for your work. It is going to be an enormous success with those who come to see and I look forward to reading the inevitable accolades (as well as seeing the pictures). The light in the gallery looks pretty special too, and I can only say that for your latest work, Cezanne had better look to his laurels. I know who I prefer…. Ashok x
High praise indeed! Thank you Ashok so kind of you. Wish you could see it. x
Mark is your Annie Liebowitz.
The space is gorgeous!
Ha! Much less demanding! x
Does anyone want to chip in for a carpool from NYC to come up for the opening? Alas, I don’t drive – I always thought the state should pay me an annual stipend to keep me off the road….
It’s looking great Mike and I’m sure it will be a success 👍 would love to be there in person but sending you lots of love and best wishes!!! Keep me posted xx
Thanks Chris – will do! X
Wish I could be there and look at your pictures and drawings together. In the meantime I’m looking forward to your next blog. Enjoy the opening! X Liesbeth
Best of luck with the exhibition and here’s to a few sales.
Thank you Graham – fingers crossed!
