The year is nearly over – Do I hear a collective “Hooray”?!
Well, December has on the whole been beautiful: frosty Upstate, with a heavy snowfall on the 16th making the landscape bright and seasonal – and cold. Mark, mimicking all those BBC wildlife documentaries we grew up with, did an Instagram post referring to the reappearance of the “Red-Hatted Artist”, “only seen during the winter months and most commonly found in its natural habitat of the woodland and lakesides around Dutchess County”
Very droll! I am not proud, I love that red hat. If only I could keep everything else as warm…
